Ok this might be a long review but I hope it helps! In the mid 2000's, when Chi was selling like hot pancakes, I had such a hard time finding it in stock that I ended up buying a Paul Mitchell iron. I fell in love with her and never tried to buy Chi again. After using my PM for 13 years, the power cord problems finally started. My sweet husband, after seeing how much trouble I was having straightening my hair, stumbled across Revain and bought me this titanium hair straightener. I didn't want to stop using my Paul Mitchell (was a bit sentimental), but I finally put it aside and gave this one a try. The best solution! I had no idea how long my old flat iron would actually take to get the job done. Although 20-30 minutes hair straightening was normal. This titanium iron is the real deal. I have very long (almost waist-length) medium density hair. Not thin, not rough. but when I don't iron I look like a lion on bad hair day. very curly This iron heats up so quickly it reaches 450F. I seriously straightened all my hair in less than 15 minutes. More like 10 minutes. A little more if I want to flip it and curl the ends. I really like this titanium straightener. And no, I didn't get the product for free just to test it. Like I said, my husband did his homework and bought me this for my birthday. The only thing I would suggest is that you may need to wear a heat glove when using it to curl your hair as the outside of the plates gets hot and when using it to curl you have to grab the hot end . In any case. I hope it lasts 13 years or more like my old straightener!
