This is a really high-quality plug. I used it to connect my aftermarket rear camera's RCA video feed to the rear camera display port of a factory Mercedes SLK350 head unit. Since the Mercedes wiring had a double Fakra clip that already covered the connector I needed to plug it into, I had to remove the blue plastic Fakra clip on the end of the Fakra connector cable to use just the bare end of the Fakra connect the cable connector to the head unit. It stuck firmly even without the holding plastic end to hold it. It was easy to do. All you have to do is pull the black retaining plug on the side of the blue plastic clip to remove the plastic retainer from the end of the cable. Anyhow, it came off very easily and allowed me to make the necessary Fakra connection, although the Mercedes 90 degree dual clamp wiring harness prevented me from simply plugging it in once it came out of the box. I am happy with it and it works very well.
