Review on EASYGUARD Universal Keyless Central KE01 RT0029 by Alex Barr

One con is how it works

So that's a nitpick that can only apply to me and how I use this device. It works as expected in many ways. You press the unlock button and send a signal on one wire, you press the lock button and send a signal on another wire. However, if you unlock the car, drive, then get out and lock the doors manually (or with the factory switch), then return to the car and try to unlock the car, it won't open. Why? Because the last button you pressed on the remote was the unlock button and the device just assumes the door is already unlocked and does nothing. So you have to press the lock button on the remote (even if the car is actually locked) and then unlock it. Why doesn't it send a signal every time this button is pressed? Why is the car in locking state? When I press the unlock button, it just sends a signal to the unlock cable - that's all I need. Two stars.

Pros
  • Keyless entry function fits most DC12V vehicles on the market
