Understand this bottle is NOT vented. If you're using it for water it's probably fine, but If you're intention is to use it with any kind of solvent or other substance that off-gasses even a little, you will need to add a small vent to the bottle, or as the liquid builds any pressure inside it will want to start leaving out the exit tube on its own. That will annoy you. I didn't put any super aggressive solvent in the bottle, just some thin, watery liquid silicone lubricant (the kind that would normally come in a spray can), but without adding a vent, the silicone lubricant wanted to start exiting the bottle by itself the second I sloshed it around even a little bit. I took a very small, thin metal pick and drove it through the topside of the cap to create a tiny vent hole and that did the trick. The bottle itself is just ok in terms of quality, but it works well enough. A higher quality option for solvents is the DeVilbiss DPC8 bottle which I also have. I use that one all the time with lacquer thinner for cleaning spray guns and other stuff, and I love it. But the DeVilbiss is more than twice the cost.
