Great for identifying areas of hydrocarbon potential within geologic data

I like that it's easy for my team of geologists/geophysicists (and others) who are not computer savvy at all but can use excel or word pretty well with little training! It also has an excellent customer service support system in place - they respond quickly when you have questions about your data set up etc., which makes them very helpful as we're trying out different things over time during our project life cycle phase before finalizing what works best long term vs short terms. We've been able solve some problems related specifically around identifying areas where there could be significant hydrocarbon accumulation zones within certain layers using this software; however i don't think its quite accurate enough yet so far from being fully utilized just because of how much work still needs doing overall compared between other available programs such as Petrel & QGIS.

Pros
  • The program runs fairly fast given current specs even though memory footprint might need increased slightly depending upon specific layer requirements per seismic acquisition survey type
Cons
  • It is hard to say
