I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality. Much better than others I've seen. Plastic is thicker, stronger. The three-wire cable with clips is very good. The picture I posted shows the thickness of the cable compared to a dime. This is a durable bungee cord that stretches. You can use it as an emergency harness for something if needed. Others I've seen are weak. It looks like a lot of thought went into the design. I particularly like the felt material inside which makes it very easy to slide the phone in and out of the case. It costs more, but I think the quality upgrade is worth the extra investment. We boat, hike and camp on Lake Powell and this should help keep the phone safe. It appears to have been built for tough outdoor use, not just poolside seating. I will add a review after use.
