I installed this on a 2002 Ford F-150 Sport Edition. It fit and worked perfectly. For your information. It's under the glove box (not inside). Just below the glove box is a small cover with 3 screws. Then you will see a multicolored wire harness, remove the wire harness from the block. Unscrew 2 screws and pull out the old block. and reinstall the new one. The hole on the top right (bottom left as shown) is for an alignment pin to ensure you position the device correctly. The whole thing took me about 15 minutes from start to finish.
