We bought this as a birthday present for our 2 year old about a week ago. So far we've made good use of both stationary pedal mode and pedal bike mode. It looks beautiful and is quite durable - despite all the abuse she's put through it so far. She likes to ride it around when being pushed and when the push handle is folded down so she can push it herself. The only downside I would point out is the small washers that attach the rear wheels to the frame. They've been fine so far with one exception, in this case the little wheel cover caught the washer before we could lose it, but they seem like such small and easy-to-slide pieces of metal to hold such critical parts in place .
