Great for socks but can hold a lot more. I only bought this to use for transitioning between different projects at camp and its size with a handy sturdy carrying strap makes it easy to get in and out of the car with my purse, dog and knitwear. projects actually i can glue two sock patterns here with sets of needles my sock patterns. My projects are usually 1-2 skeins of 50g and there is still room for socks and needles and spare needles and I could even make CALS here for my fisher wife who needs junkyard and chunky needles and there is room for two projects plus buttons plus a wallet, but it's very stylish AND durable and feels nice. I went with gray instead of a flashy color and I really like them to work so it's nice to have things ready to go from the living room to the bedroom for a trip. My projects are packed in these bags and I just love them. This makes a very nice gift and I would recommend it to all yarn lovers on your Christmas list, it's not too early to start planning for Christmas.
