Works well as privacy and heat protection

Attached to the west window that lets in a lot of heat in summer. The rain pattern looks very nice and the transparent areas hide air bubbles better than solid foils. Installation wasn't difficult. The only two difficult parts are the rollback and the bubble work. Here are my notes: 1. Cut the foil with an x-acto cutter before removing the liner.2. I couldn't remove the backing with my fingernail. I taped two 3" pieces of tape on each side perpendicular (across) to each other in the corner of the film. Press the tape firmly. Then slowly peel back each piece of tape and the corner of the backing should come off.3. At the top of the foil, pull back the pad a few inches, then begin laying the foil down. When he lies down, pull the indent back more and more.4. Let the film slide over the wet window. If you try to press it, it will only produce air bubbles, which are difficult to remove.5. If the film doesn't lay flat, simply remove it from the window, soak some more water and put it back. Release film right at the beginning helps reduce bubbles.6. Some air bubbles will be pushed up/down the film towards the edges. Others have to exit horizontally. Since the rain pattern makes it difficult to move sideways, push the bubbles diagonally to the sides. Enjoy! It looks good overall, lets in enough light for the plants by the window, offers some privacy and really helps reduce midday sun and heat.
