This photo was taken after my first application and I didn't even waste a single sheet! Listening to other reviewers, I made sure to apply early in the morning and avoid exposure to hot water for several hours. I added a glitter top coat after the photo was taken. Not sure if it helped at all, but it certainly didn't hurt! I've had them for three days now and they still look great! UPDATE - I still love them and have bought another set! Someone asked the size of the largest so I took the picture next to a quarter measuring an inch (couldn't find a ruler) so I think the widest is probably 3/4".
