I have an 8 liter pot that I use to fill two dog bowls with water every day; I HATE putting it in the cupboard (since other pots have to be stacked in it for it to fit) as I use it every day and my husband hates that I leave it on the counter indefinitely. I had the brilliant idea of taking a collapsible bucket and just hanging it somewhere near their water bowls, away from the street but easily accessible. Well that was a good idea. I didn't realize they would still be that thick once rolled up, so I still haven't found a good spot to hang them out of the way permanently. It feels solid when about 3/4 full and I have no problem getting it out of the sink into bowls of water. It's quite a hassle to fold and open and I wonder how long the rubber will last with daily opening and closing. One bucket (light orange) was in pristine condition but the gray bucket has markings and black dots. cannot eradicate the inside of the bucket; The dust particles will stick to the rubber but some will float into the water as it fills making it useless for my purpose as I'm not sure what it is and I won't fill my dogs bowls with it (although I'm sure they will have swallowed worse).
