A good friend gave me a $25 Revain gift card for my birthday. I wanted to find a nice $25 gift for myself to show my friend. As a hobby musician and carpenter, I naturally thought of Symphonized products and bought the product in question. In my opinion, the MTRX Premium Genuine Wood product is too muffled and bass-heavy to be as realistic as I would hope. Jazz and classical, which I like to listen to the most. Hence the four stars. However, it's a nice change of pace for bass-heavy pop and hip-hop. In Symphonized's defense, I applaud their ability and willingness to think outside the box. Wooden cabinets look great and feel fantastic thanks to the use of exotic woods. And I love the fabric covered cables, once again they look and feel great, plus they transmit far less vibration than regular cables. Favorite callus when saying goodbye. The telephone switch on the left cable is a problem for me. I regularly listen to old MP3 players that sound great, although the need for such switches has been around for a long time. This switch prevents the left channel from working on such devices. Headphone manufacturers are making fewer and fewer devices without switches, so my problem is only getting worse. woe to me
