The original charger for my Acer Aspire F laptop was kicked, kicked and otherwise unintentionally abused for 15 years. Became very picky about charging a laptop. If I leave it on after the laptop is charging, the laptop beeps constantly and the backlit keys are flashing. So I unplugged the laptop and it worked fine until the battery died when it started beeping continuously and the backlit keys flashing again. I was concerned that the charging connector was actually damaged. When I received this new charger and plugged it in, everything was working fine again. This charger is a bit more expensive than some of the other chargers available, but in my experience it's well worth the money.
