Great for curly and short hair
I didn't know they were still doing things for you. I have short hair that I like to fold and curl sometimes. They are great for refreshing curls the next day. Apparently, some loaders also like to use them to style their hair and even sleep with it. They have the advantage of being lightweight and staying in place rather than falling out of shorter hair. Safer and more convenient than a curling iron - it eliminates the need to "cook" your hair day in and day out, which can cause so much damage.
