Review on Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO Shell Headphone Bundle - Top-Quality Headphones for Premium Sound Experience by Daniel Young Joong H ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Considering that we are talking about a thing for almost 20 thousand, a logical question arises: is it worth it? If you are ready to shell out that amount and are just considering options, then yes, it is worth it. The sound is excellent: clarity (sharpness, detail) over the entire frequency range, there is no periodic soap at low frequencies, as in my beloved Audio-Technica ATH-M40x, there is a sub-bass, amazing violin-type highs and a legible mids, exceptional comfort of huge "ears" with velor ear cushions that do not fry or cool, an almost all-metal headband with a connection in the "fork" area. For those who are not yet sure and just looked into such price tags in search of sound, I will save money and recommend Audio-Technica, which I mentioned above. They are roughly similar in sound, with less clarity in general and bass in particular. Well, they are inferior in comfort due to the smaller size and leatherette and in reliability due to maintenance-free plastic in critical parts. But they cost more than twice as much. There is an overview.

Pros
  • Superior Sound Absolute comfort with good pressure to the head A design that inspires hope for reliability: there is only one plastic part in the carrier element and it is always available in spare parts stores + completely collapsible. Replaceable headband padding At this resistance, the headphones make less noise if the source does not have the best signal-to-noise ratio.
Cons
  • However, there is an emphasis on upper mids and highs that many people talk about. This translates into rather sharp poking in some songs and sibilants in female speech. A resistance of 250 is not available for all devices: forget about mobile phones, motherboards and mobile players: only an external sound with a normal amplifier (I advise you to check out Julian Krause's YouTube channel - he has a review of popular sound cards for sound quality), or something cooler .
