My New Favorite Ergonomic Right-Handed Mouse

Pros: - Excellent build quality. No squeaking, no knocking or anything like that. Judging by other reviews, this seems random. - Very comfortable - Extremely fast and precise pressing of all keys. - DPI display - Lightweight - iCue is very powerful and full-featured. Cons: - iCue software is huge and can cause problems. on some systems. - iCue needs to be running on Windows to set options like polling rate, DPI, RGB, key bindings, etc. - The mouse switches to random RGB mode when the computer is locked. - No option to disable RGB without software. Mouse acceleration (improved pointer precision) is enabled by default and hidden in the settings menu. Info: I had a Deathadder many years ago and really liked the shape of my grip. I have a slightly relaxed palm (palm size 19x10 cm). At 1600 dpi, I make small adjustments with my fingers when viewing, but rely more on my wrist when playing. It's hard to explain BUT the way I hold my mouse, the shape of Deathadder felt great, if not perfect. Unfortunately I had two and both broke within a year so I fled the ship. On my way through the world of mice, I caught a Steelseries Rival 300, which was fine, and then snagged a Glorious Model D. I liked the Model D, but it had quality issues and didn't fit my hand as well as I did had hoped. When I received this mouse, it immediately fitted my hand perfectly; I knew it was the guardian. I've been using it for work and a lot of FPS games last week and everything felt natural and smooth. Literally got down to business. There is no physical adjustment period like other mice where I got used to the shape of my previous mouse. It took a little while to get the mouse set up the way I liked it. Disabled Enhanced Pointer Precision, 2 kHz polling rate, 1600 DPI and my macros for a few games. But once you get used to the iCue software, things become a breeze. Just a little learning curve there. The only thing worth mentioning is that the skates are not as smooth as my model D, PTFE just suits this mouse better. Maybe the aftermarket will take care of that. Overall: At this price point, this is probably the best ergonomic right-handed mouse you could ask for. It has all the bells and whistles, great build quality and just feels good in your hand.
