I'm not a big fan of "single purpose" kitchen appliances so I like the versatility of this hand blender. I use it all the time for many different things. I've used it to make incredible fresh fruit smoothies. I use it regularly to make homemade salad dressing. I used a milk frother to make homemade macchiatos. I made homemade bars by chopping up nuts and dates in a chopping bowl. It's surprisingly powerful and very easy to clean. The only reason I didn't give it five stars for "ease of use" is that the speed setting can be tricky to adjust. At one point I thought mine was stuck, but that could just be my blockage. I use it so often it might have something sticky behind the dial. Otherwise I'm really happy with this product.
