I went 16 inches long to extend my hair 4 inches. I was disappointed that the ombre had low lighting in the lighter bottom part. I was hoping it was just light at the ends. But the highlights in the extension matched my hair color so I decided to leave it anyway and when I have time I can lighten and tone the less lit areas. Before dressing I rounded the corners with thinning scissors and ironed each piece at 150 degrees. In the photo I only used 4 of the 6 in the pack and was happy with the results apart from the low light. I give 5 stars because the quality of the hair is good and the ends are nice and full. Also, it heats up well and the shot is reliable, so I don't think these extensions lose performance. I have a lot of experience with extensions and the price is fair and the shipping is fast. Clips work fine.
