Review on Secure Your Shade With AMMSUN Beach Umbrella Sand Anchor – Metal Heavy Duty Base For Sun Protection And Strong Winds by Luis Green

Good but not great!

Ok, so I am very fair when writing reviews, taking into account user error, flaws in design, usefulness, etc. I REALLY wanted to love this beach umbrella anchor. But I would say there needs to be a redesign of the plastic piece that accompanies it. It is USELESS. Unless you have a larger diameter beach umbrella pole, don't bother with this, because thinner poles need this plastic insert piece in order to operate and it WILL fail on you! It slipped out countless times to where the umbrella went sailing! The next day I didn't use an umbrella. Which brings me to my second issue.Even with the wide pole beach umbrella this wiggles itself loose and the umbrella starts shaking back and forth with a LIGHT breeze (2-3knots!). It wiggles and tilts till the umbrella fails and goes inside out. Granted.it kept the umbrella from sailing away.but it did not hold it sturdy enough to not shake/wiggles. My other umbrellas were sturdy with the simple plastic t handle corkscrew type.I followed instructions and even removed soft sand till you got to the hard stuff, etc. (I grew up on the beach, so we've been doing that nifty trick for years.) Anyway, this was my experience.results may vary. For God's sake though.fix your design with that plastic insert. Peace, love and sunshine
