I bought the Alpinestars Boys Descender youth jacket in black oversize for my 12 year old son. The jacket looks high quality and the design is very sporty and trendy. However, I have to say that the size is wrong. According to the size chart on the product page, my son's size should be large enough to comfortably fit plus size. But when we received the jacket, it was a bit tight around his shoulders and arms, making it difficult to move freely. We tried to exchange it for XL, but unfortunately this size was sold out. In addition to the size problem, the jacket also keeps you warm on cold days. It has a soft fleece lining and a detachable hood, which is nice. Materials feel durable, stitching is neat and tidy. Overall I would give the Alpinestars Boys Descender Youth Jacket 3 stars out of 5. The jacket looks and feels well tailored but the sizing issue is a major downside. I recommend ordering a size up for your child's comfort.
