Review on ๐Ÿ” Autel AutoLink AL519 OBD2 Scanner: Enhanced Code Reader with Smog Check, DTC Breaker, and Upgraded Ver. AL319 by Rudolph Mceachern

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much better than expected!

I've used this on 6 different cars in a week and can't complain. The display is bright and clear, the controls are self-explanatory if you've used the scanner before, and the quality is immediately apparent when you open the case. I would say the money was well spent, as I have wished for for a long time. Of the 6 cars I've used this with, all codes have been found (much more than expected) and easily fixed before being cleared. I read the manual before using it, in case you're interested. It gives detailed information about all vehicle modules it refers to during the scan. The rest is basically an introduction for beginners. It reads codes and gives a good description of the likely problem. I read a review where they thought the case looked like cheap plastic and I couldn't help but agree. The outer "sleeve" is slightly loose to absorb the shock of a fall. I randomly checked this. Survived without damage. The zippered nylon pouch adds another layer of protection when not in use. It also has an inner pocket with velcro for OBD-II interface cable, software CD and USB to mini USB cable. I recommend it to any scanner you can buy from your local parts store. At this price you don't get such a large color display!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • A few minor things
