These bulbs look amazing once installed! The installation took quite a long time, about twenty minutes. The only part of the instillation that wasn't well explained is adding the corner and extension pieces. After cutting the strip at the location indicated, you must remove the protective rubber band from BOTH sides of the strip. It is enough to expose the metal conductors and then cut off the plastic. After installation they worked great. Ideally, the microphone should be 6 to 10 feet away, depending on the volume of the audio. If you're looking to add some lighting to your space, I recommend this set of strips.
