This bag is fantastic. I don't have a big bathroom for makeup drawers. I always kept them in my bag and put the bag away. It's time to replace mine, she's madly in love with Vera Bradley so here she is. The bag is just phenomenal. It fits all my stuff and is moderately organized but easier to find than the stuff in my old bag. Interior vinyl for quick cleaning. Plenty of space for brushes or pens. The zip-top top has a clear vinyl pocket and holders for brushes or pens. I had a large Kumasi H brush that didn't fit comfortably in a pen and brush stand, one and a half inch diameter brushes. (For my fellow nerds, that's about 4.71 inches in circumference.) The zippered bottom has a zippered mesh pocket at the top and a large space with two mesh pockets at the bottom. These are handy little compartments for organizing things. Each of the large zip compartments has two zip pullers. That's the quality of Vera Bradley. Easy to clean. clear lines. Beautiful seam. High quality zippers. I took a few photos of my bag in use. I thought about throwing everything on the floor so you can see how much junk is in there, but I really didn't feel like making a mess today. Also, I think the photos will give you an idea of how much stuff I stuff in this bag.
