We ordered this to have our little one with us when we are out in public but due to the raging pandemic we have actually didn't use it for that purpose. Instead we set aside for our 7 month old daughter to take her first steps and start the process to start walking. We've put her in a harness a few times just to be comfortable in her and she seems well built for that purpose. It's nice that her arms are free to move without having to hold her and that will be the only point of contact if we hold her as she learns to walk. It's a lovely pink color and is well padded to prevent chafing and irritation.
