I bought this drone because I am an aspiring photographer who wants to expand the scope of drone photography and videography. I am currently working on Part 107 Licensing and wanted an inexpensive but decent and functional drone for practice and learning. The U52 did not disappoint. This drone is easy to set up, easy to fly, and takes decent video and photos. For the price it's a solid 5. I bought an extra battery and get 18-20 minutes per battery when freshly charged. The props are strong and I have flown right into trees and have yet to break a prop. You can also stick your finger directly into one of the props while shooting and avoid cutting yourself. However, I wouldn't use it around pets or small children for fear of hurting a sensitive area like the eye. This is me. YMMV. The only concerns I have are: I want to buy an additional charger or a faster charger. I haven't figured out how to make this feature reliable yet. I seem to be able to capture 3 minutes of video and then it stops and there is no indication whether it is actually recording or not. Those issues aside, I recommend this drone to anyone looking for a cheap device to launch and learn or just play with.
