Review on Sennheiser CX 350BT Wireless Headphone: Bluetooth 5.0, 10-Hour Battery, USB-C Fast Charging, Virtual Assistant Button - White (CX 350BT White) by Anastazja Staniszews ᠌

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Two headsets, the Sennheiser CX350BT and the Sony WI-XB400, emerged as clear frontrunners after much speculating. Integrating AptX was a top priority. Hence, the CX350BT was picked since it best met the requirements. Sound quality was a minor letdown after the purchase. It lacked the heft that I was hoping for in the bass department. Later on, I learned that the XBASS enhancements on the Sonys would make me quite happy with their audio quality; but, they do not support AptX, do not have particularly long battery lives, and cost three grand. Then the torture with the equalizers started. I began by adjusting my phone's settings (a Sony Xperia 10 plus), narrowing the options down until only Clear + remained (see screenshot). And then, with the Senheiser Smart Connect software, I laboriously looked for a spot where the bass would be fuller, and the outcome was a peculiar curve (see screenshot). If you changed this, what changed? As I'm not a musician and therefore unable of giving a proper description, I'll just put it this way. I don't mind that a lot of the highs were rolled down and the bass was beefed up with this setup. Again, I'm persuaded that sound is personal; some people need to hear every cymbal on the drums, while others want a little less. In any event, you should pay attention and evaluate a minimum of two different versions. Before that, I used Sony SBH-90C headphones, which had, in my opinion, the ideal sound balance. However, after about six months, the left earpiece stopped functioning. According to (Decree of the Government of the 2022 of October 20, 1998 N 1222, dated 06.02202222 N 81 point 2), in-ear headphones are included in the list of personal hygiene products, and on the basis of this, sellers refuse to pre-listen. However, I find this whole thing highly debatable, as I did not see the headphones included in the list. If you need earplugs, I suggest shopping in places where such items are commonly sold.

Pros
  • Acoustics and vocals captured via a microphone.
Cons
  • Use the Sennheiser Smart Connect mobile application. The equalizer in the app is straightforward and easy to use in some respects, but unsatisfactory in others; a traditional equalizer provides little relief because of its limited customization options.
