Review on Messermeister Moritz Elite Chefs Paring by Dave Howard

I used to fall in love with Messermeister knives and wanted to buy the best cooking set ever. This set is great for home use, the chef's knife is the perfect size for general use and the pair's knife is really handy. The knives themselves come out of the box sharp and have a slightly reflective sheen. I'm almost afraid to use them because I don't want to ruin them, but since I've had another Messermeister knife before, I know they'll last well as long as I treat them well. The handles of the San Mortiz Elite are very comfortable, the material is firm but not smooth, and I like the look better than some other models. As some other reviews have noted, the metal point on the back of the handle is only on one side of the knife, but this is purely an aesthetic issue and doesn't really bother me.
