we had to replace the current pixie scratch box, it was square and really ruined it. We searched every store and couldn't find anything, I found this and after reading the measurements we decided to give it a try. It's higher than the previous one, but not as deep. As long as it's a hit, she's a girl who enjoys her food and treats, if you get my meaning, and she's comfortable on it. I placed an inner solid square next to the big one and she likes to use it to access the taller square. The cardboard is very thick, I think it will take a while before she scratches it.
