I originally bought this mic to use when playing video games online. However, it works great for computer control and voice dialing. There are a few things about this mic that I really like. Computer control / voice input. The microphone picks up my voice perfectly to control the computer via Cortana. I had no problems with Cortana and this mic. Voice input into Google Docs from about 2.5 feet away also works great. Cable The long cable makes it very easy to move around when playing games at my desk or on the couch. Size/Feel The size of the microphone is perfect. It's not too big and not too small. The microphone feels comfortable. It's a lot easier than it looks. The microphone head is flexible and can move as shown in the attached picture. The optics of the microphone are very pleasant. It really looks like an old microphone. plug and play No drivers had to be installed or settings made. I just plugged it in and it was ready to use straight away. Games This microphone is suitable for online games. However, there are a few things to consider. The microphone works best on a desk, not a couch. I tested it with Discord at my desk and it works great, my friends could hear me clearly and loudly. playing games on my couch with the microphone on the stand a little further away. My voice was much lower and barely audible without speaking up. So when gaming, this mic works great if you're sitting at a table next to it. But it doesn't work so well when it's further away. Overall, this mic is a great budget mic. It is light and looks very nice. I would definitely recommend this.
