This really deserves a higher rating, but I find it so unattractive that I just can't watch. Just a big black plastic wedge with a horror movie needle attached to a swivel. The bottle cap opener looks like a WTFN addendum you'd find on a kids' science project, and my absolute favorite feature (drum roll please) is a hole in the end in case you want to use it as a keychain. Please excuse the harshness. It's very convenient, and if you're more into functionality then it's definitely a 4 star item (although I guess I can't swear by the accuracy of the thermometer). The fact that I can attach it to the side of the microwave is very practical and I don't have to look at it there. The room temperature function is pretty cool too, but don't let your kids see you playing with it or next time you reach for it it won't be there; )
