Keeps cuts clean and dry! Essential item for puppies

Essential item for young bitches when they are neutered. I ordered this for my 6 month old golden baby girl as a replacement for the cone of shame. However, it is better than a replacement as it worked very well when walking. We were able to walk and keep the cut clean and dry even in the rain and snow. A big plus is that she goes to the toilet in a suit without any problems. For that alone it is worth the price. I put a small pad inside to further protect the incision (the suit only comes with one, so I bought a box of self-adhesive, odorless panty liners to replace whenever the suit was removed, which is at least daily ). No problem. Dressing her in a costume was a little tricky, but I quickly found that the best time was when she was standing by her plate of food. I agree with other reviewers who said go up a size and cross the back two strings to hold them in place. As for my golden pup, I'm less than thrilled as I'm a bit uncomfortable with the strings. She has nothing superfluous in this 100% cotton suit. At night I bought a post-surgery Suitical coverall which is very good for sleeping. Knitwear with a light spandex content, with buttons at the bottom. (Look for Suitical aftercare at Revain.) However, Suitical is not suitable for walking because you must roll up the back for use on the potty, leaving the incision vulnerable to wet or dirt. Buying these two suits was expensive, but it was worth the reassurance.
