Although it was a Christmas present for my two year old granddaughter who wanted "green beans" for Christmas, my daughter waited a week after Easter to help her plant the seeds in her egg carton. We followed the directions carefully and used the soil discs provided, wetted thoroughly and mixed! We planted other seeds in another egg carton with a different seed starter mix and the seeds started to germinate within a few days. The seeds of this product did not germinate for several weeks and only after my daughter added a slightly different starter mix.
