Honestly I didn't know what to expect, I read the reviews and they looked too good to be true. I have to say I paid for cable and they gave me 10 channels and 100Mbps internet and it was "cheaper than just an internet connection" because I was already a customer of theirs. Comcast is a thief, they only offer good deals to new customers. After finding a pretty good deal on Comcast I gave up my cable and only got 200Mbps internet for half the price I previously paid and no cable. They come with some apps, Peacock and others that offer some free channels but not local ones. I decided to do some research and considered buying an antenna. Absolutely no lie I could have bought a cheaper one but this one is only about $19 and now I get 41 to 48 channels. A few channels are repeated but I can receive 40 channels depending on where I place the antenna. The amp doesn't really seem to give me more channels than when I'm not using the amp, but the quality is better. I'm still looking for the best spot but so far I'm getting an average of about 43 different channels from where I just placed it, near a window and only 4 feet off the ground. If I place it over 5ft I get fewer channels for some reason so I hid it behind a curtain and near the window and all seems fine. I should have done that earlier. I don't think you need to spend that much money to buy more expensive ones. If you have $20 to spend, try this antenna and you won't be disappointed.
