We love this retractable baby gate! Customer service was also excellent. One of the latches broke after our exuberant little one hung and leaned on this gate for almost a year, and the entire replacement kit is only $9.99. I contacted the seller and they responded quickly with a link to the parts. I recommend this gate to anyone who needs to cordon off a room on a regular basis. I wouldn't put it at the top of the stairs as it's a little less durable than I'd be happy with personally. It does a great job of locking our little one in our living room/playroom, especially as the entrance is at an angle that other baby gates cannot accommodate. I love that you can tuck it away when not in use, it has a low profile and is barely noticeable when tucked away.
