Product works as advertised. No drivers are required for this item as the USB port is for power only. Basically, you can plug it into an iPhone charger if you want, as long as the 3.5mm cable (which is REQUIRED for the device to operate) is connected to the source. I bought it for Bluetooth audio streaming to my BT headphones. You can do this with this device via anything that has a 3.5mm port as long as you provide USB power. It will also act as a receiver using the same method, but I haven't tested that part. I sent it back as it was very difficult to plug into my USB ports. It's almost as if the device is too big in some dimension. Regardless, I didn't want to risk my expensive electronics on this device. If you plan to put it in once and leave it forever, then this device might be for you.
