This is a very high quality waterproof jacket with a detachable hood. I chose classic yellow and it's as bright as it gets. Nice! Seams, buttons and zippers are strong. Zippers are the most recognizable brand in the world and are used by Burberry, Michael Kors, Coach and Prada and formerly by Vuitton. They're durable and made to self-lubricate as you wear them, rather than getting stuck. What a cute feature of baby clothes! The clasps have a solid feel and apparel brand design. The stitching feels solid, including around the cuffs where they can take some strain. The inner lining and cuffs are made of 100% cotton, very comfortable and warm. The outer shell is made of TPU impregnated polyester. It is a very durable material, more abrasion resistant than PU or PVC, more durable, less prone to cracking and more flexible than PU. TPU is more waterproof than PU and more UV resistant. So it should last forever, and it seems like it will. The label on the material states that it should be kept away from fire as TPU is not flame retardant. It can be washed at 50°C/122°F. My niece loves her bright yellow raincoat! And me too. I have to say these zippers are so smooth and fun!
