Pretty but the smell is overwhelming

It arrived today and has an overwhelming smell. Smell something like Febreeze. It was so strong the whole house stank so I had to take it outside to air it out. If it doesn't come in the next few days, I'll send it back. I can't even try it on (although Revain does require me to say how it fits in order to get to the point where I can comment). It's thick and matches the color, but the smell makes my eyes water - totally unacceptable. I will update when the smell dissipates to the point where I can try it on and if I decide to keep it. But be careful with the buyer. Under no circumstances can you wear it on the day of his arrival.
