I was surprised at how stiff the strap was. The shank of the buckle bent so much that I had to use pliers to bend it back. If I have to bend it again it might break. I would have a useless belt. I also find the shaft too long. Because of this, it is very difficult to loosen the strap. After all this, the belt within the belt itself begins to wear out. I doubt I will ever buy another belt from this company. Beware.
