Last night as I put my beard to bed I noticed that my heat lamp seemed to be vibrating in the lamp. I turned it off and waited until morning to check it out, knowing I'd be turning it back on all day. When I removed the lamp, I heard a loud pop and saw a bright electrical discharge. Please note that the device is switched off! The entire neck of the bulb has melted in the socket. MELTS! Not broken, not melted! I used a 150 watt lightbulb as recommended for this size fixture. If I hadn't caught it, not only could it kill my bearded dragon, it could also burn down my house which is home to me, my wife, my son, 4 dogs, 3 cats and of course Fitz, my bearded dragon. This is a danger! Flukers should NOT sell lights! It's also not the first Fluker I've used that was either dangerous or just didn't work. These are terrible products! I learned the lesson that if I want my bearded dragon to live and my house to stand, I have to spend extra money. Pull yourself together, Fluker's! This is very bad!
