Not working, works with two wired devices, only 1 wired + 1 bluetooth

I really wanted to give this headset a second try so I ordered both as spares the same problem. This headset is full of inconveniences. If you just need something to play with, use Discord on your phone, or use on a single device, this is acceptable. But the big advantage is the compatibility with multiple devices. .And this headset has some HUGE design flaws that make it difficult, I would start with the most obvious ones. This device does NOT support Bluetooth aptX! What does that mean? Well, if you want to use Bluetooth with your computer you should be able to pair without any problems, but if you want to use a microphone you'll have to switch to the classic "loud profile" which lowers the quality of both the microphone and your listening audio and you will feel like using an old landline phone. In addition, the device will also yield a bit, making it unsuitable for Bluetooth gaming. (Supports SBS and AAC codec) Second, the AUX port seems to be connected incorrectly, when you connect the included auxiliary cable, the audio sounds strange and some audio channels are missing (as if you only partially connected the headphones). Fix it with Turing on Bluetooth (for some reason), but a few minutes after the BT device is not connected, the sound problem comes back. I have found that connecting the auxiliary cable is about 80%-90% correct. And finally again related to AUX. The faulty wiring appears to be prone to interference or feedback from AC powered devices when a USB device is connected. For example, when I connect to my PC via USB and try to connect to my Switch in the docking station, I hear a very loud buzzing noise and it even seeps into my microphone line for everyone on the discord to hear. And I can tell it's leaking into the mic line because even when I use the hardware mute button on the headset, it's still bleeding through the mic. But again, this only affects mains powered AUX devices and is not limited to my computer: PC (USB) + DockedSwitch (Aux) = BADPC (USB) + SwitchHandheld (aux) = FinePC (USB) + PS4 Controller (aux ) = FineSwitchDocked (USB)+TV Headphone Port=BadLaptop(USB)+SpeakerHeadphone Port=BadPS4 (USB) ) + Powered DAC (AUX) = Bad This is really annoying and limits your use cases. In short, if you have a very simple setup, such as just want to chat at odds with your friends while playing PS4 games, you can connect to the PS4 controller for AUX audio, and then to a PC or smartphone for the Voice -Establish chat without intervention. But in the end this headset could have been a lot better if they just fixed the AUX issue and added aptX (I've tried multiple devices, multiple aux tags, multiple USB ports/cables, and even two separate headphones). But in the end it depends on the intended use: the microphone is a little above average, but not outstanding. The sound quality is "good", at least the PC gets the equalizer settings, but you can't save them back to the device. It will still work in very limited use cases. , but if you don't want to lock yourself in, your money is better off elsewhere. ---- Edit 02/04: I got a reply from Corsair support. Designed to be used with a wired device as well as a Bluetooth device. AUX and USB sharing is not supported. ever mentioned in the list. Of course, my use case isn't a common one, but when you say it supports 3 connection styles and doesn't mention any exceptions, I think that's a bit misleading.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
