I replaced the fan in the switch and ended up breaking one of the rails and pulling the other out. I figured it was best to try it myself before giving up and paying someone else to fix it. After looking for a switch disassembly I was sure it would be even easier than replacing the fan (which was a success). I'm not sure if the word "lightweight" even applies, as ribbon cables are very difficult to deform into the desired shape. However, after some adjustments and lubricating the elbows, I was able to replace the broken one with minimal problems. They both ended up working, but advice to those replacing the shorter left cable. Make sure this thing is FULLY installed, try pulling it back out after pressing the clip because to say I had problems would be a gross understatement. Still 5 stars because the parts work, I'm not deducting a star because it was difficult. It won't be easy for others.
