Remaining molded jacket to be removed from the cable path (inside the hole that closes when compressed with a gland/nut). Not a big deal, but since the inside of the hole was a bit rough at the time, I put an RTV on the outside to ensure a good watertight seal. I ordered this by mistake as I would have preferred one with a flange for mounting bolts, but time was short so I drilled a hole in the center and used a 2-1/2" mounting bolt and nut that went into the fiberglass high plate of my van., plus RTV under fuselage.
