I use it for gift wrapping and as a versatile lightweight ribbon. I try to avoid tape because it's plastic. As part of my overall effort to reduce my use of plastic, I'm switching to paper tapes like these as much as possible. I like this assorted pack because it has a good range of colors so I can try to match or coordinate with wrapping paper or other needs. I also like that there is no gold foil or glitter, which while nice is just reintroducing the plastic to the paper band. They're totally papery and stick well, making them a great band. If I could change one thing it would be the plastic wrap around the strap when it arrived. Each set of 6 is wrapped in plastic wrap and a set of 12 is wrapped in another layer of plastic. Getting rid of this allows you to give up buying plastic altogether.
