I've tried many 3.5mm extension cords - and lately I've been comparing offers from Monoprice, Cabledirect and Yugrin side by side. Monoprice cables are the cheapest, and Ugreen and Kabeldirekt cables sell for about the same price, with Kabeldirekt cables costing about $1 more on average for the same length of cable. These Ugreen cables are good, but I gave them four stars because direct cable cables are simply better. The Ugreen connectors are ok, but the way they connect to the cable is not as good as the Kabeldirekt version - the connectors are from Kabeldirekt and the way they connect to the cable, are simply stronger and more durable. Also, the Kabeldirect cable itself is thicker and stronger than Ugreen, which is important when using lengths like 10 or 15 feet for a headphone extension. For longer cable runs, thicker, stronger cables are a better choice—they're less likely to get tangled, twisted, or damaged by accidental steps. Comparing Ugrenn and Kabeldirekt versus Monoprice, I personally wouldn't choose Monoprice unless price is a deciding factor. All in all, Ugreen is a good, comfortable cable that you'll probably be 100% satisfied with, especially at shorter lengths. I'm only deducting one star because for about the same money, the Kabeldirect is the best cable for my needs---especially over long distances due to the extra thickness. Thank you for reading.
