Review on MICHELIN X-Ice 3 195/65 R15 95T winter by Danuta Popardowska ᠌

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

I owned them for one winter, rolled them in size 205/65 16 on Kia Ceed 2022. To be honest, I really liked the tires, I got them not expensive, no matter how I tried to plant the car, in those places where I came across snow, icy climbs, etc. - it didn’t work, I couldn’t force a single ice slide. I stopped and started on purpose - the car went uphill everywhere! confidently. It must be understood that it is without studs and on bare ice to want studded performance from it is stupid, but I also don’t understand the point of flying on ice, but always rustling on Hong Kong’s cold, winter asphalt is just stupid. On snow, slurry, wet cold road, just cold asphalt, at temperatures below 0 - ideal, but as soon as asphalt is above + 5-7 degrees, you need to drive twice as carefully, it is not at all intended for asphalt, the car just drove like this and he was driving, he checked it himself, when he tried to slow down on the Hong Kong Ring Road from 60, he almost drove, the speed was very low, but the car stubbornly moved in the direction of that little white AUDI, which I almost planted, at the last moment, simply releasing the brake and changing the trajectory to the next row I avoided planting. I would take it again if the price was more adequate, I was very pleased with the rubber - I recommend it!

Pros
  • Grip on snow, porridge, ice, grip on an icy road.
Cons
  • Traction properties on asphalt.
