I have tried and used several of these bluetooth keyboards with my iPad. I like most of them, this is the first one I've tried with round keys which I like and I like how they press and feel when typing. I'm a super fast guy, so those who are will see what I mean. I don't understand the need for a touchpad. I understand why people use it on a PC instead of a mouse. I think the idea would be that you don't have to touch the screen all the time, but it's already a habit and won't be broken. Also, it's faster for me to just tap the screen to do what I want instead of using a pad on the keyboard. Now, because of this pad, all the keys on the keyboard are higher, and typing is uncomfortable for me, I have to stretch my wrists up, and it's not good for my wrists, my special ergonomics. But if it suits you and you are used to using this rug, then most likely you will like it very much.
