This is a very efficient hand mixer. With the "ACTIVE Blade" I can mix a fairly small amount of material by pressing the blade close to the bottom of the cup. The power is great, most solid objects don't stand a chance, but ice won't break. Because the blender area is separate from the motor, it's easy to clean without getting moisture inside the mechanism. Unfortunately I have constant problems with the small nylon wedge that connects the stainless steel mixer shaft to the motor on display. Drive. The clutch continues to disengage and slip off the shaft. I've already lost one, so I know you can't get a new fitting without buying a whole new faucet assembly, which seems expensive and wasteful. So close to perfect :(
