Easy to assemble but mediocre strength. I wouldn't use it for heavy stuff but it's perfect for my shoes and skates. I've been looking for a good cube organizer that would be perfect as a shoe rack and I think this is the best you can get as the plastic is easy to clean and doesn't deteriorate when wet. The steel frame keeps the nylon at the right tension to hold my shoes and the organizer holds its shape once assembled. This is a pretty good design for light applications. If you need medium to heavy duty, MDF, plywood or solid wood is your best choice. I do not recommend it as a bookshelf as the books become too heavy.
