Excellent Wall Mount and Thoughtful Design + Bonus Tools!

I install wall mount televisions as a part time job and this is one of the best wall mount systems I have ever installed. The instructions were pretty clear and well written. Although I have my own installation system, there are important details involved in any TV installation and the manual has pretty much everything you need. The wall mount is designed for both wooden studs and concrete. They don't include concrete screws, but they can have them shipped to you for free if you give them a call. (I hope nobody ever tries to just install drywall.). An electronic stud finder is useful for locating studs, but is not required. You can click on the walls to find studs. Another trick to finding the exact center of the stud is to use a hammer and nail to define the edges of the studs. The template provided was a great help. It wasn't a thin sheet of paper but thicker cardboard that held up well. All dimensions and holes were marked so once you found the studs it was easy to line up the template and mount it to the wall. From there I simply drilled holes right through the template. The kit comes with two tiers which I find pretty incredible. Nobody gives you things "for free". The useful level is about 6 inches long and comes in handy for making sure your template and wall mount are straight. [The template also comes with a tiny bubble level that you can stick on. But because you have to put it on yourself; if you get even slightly out of alignment, it's useless.]. The wall mount is quite heavy, so it helps if one person holds the mount while the other person screws in and tightens the screws. That's actually something else I really like: The screws have both a cross head and a hexagon! So you can start it with a screwdriver and finish with a 1/2" ratchet. Much easier. Once it's up all the adjustments were pretty easy. From that. The locking pins on the TV pins were a nice touch too. I hate Mounts that require a long Allen key to find a tiny little hole in the dark under a TV mount It was pretty easy.
